The Bay Commitment Scholarship application is only for 1st Generation College Students from Bay County who attend SVSU or Delta and is now open until October 31st, 2024.
Bay Commitment Scholarship Program - open until October 31st
Each year, the Bay Area Community Foundation awards $2,000 to up to 100 first-generation college students in Bay County pursuing a degree or certificate at either Saginaw Valley State University or Delta College. A first-generation college student is one whose parent(s) they live with do not hold bachelor’s degrees.
The MEA Scholarship
Applicants must be: · Dependent of MEA member or MEA-Retired member in good standing.
· Graduate of a Michigan public school or private high school that has an MEA bargaining unit. A diploma must be received in the application year.
· Will attend or is currently an undergraduate student of a Michigan public community/junior college, four-year degree-granting institution, or vocational training institution that grants a degree, certification, or license. These private institutions ONLY are also eligible: University of Detroit Mercy, Adrian College, Finlandia University, and Albion College.
The application due date is February 10, 2025

Delta College Foundation Scholarships
Delta College scholarships are now open! Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year will be accepted from December 3, 2024, through February 4, 2025.
Frankenmuth Credit Union Scholarship
Frankenmuth Credit Union is excited to announce the return of our college and skilled trades scholarship program! The application period for the 2025 FCU Scholarships is now open.
FCU will award 14 scholarships this year – 10 colleges and 4 skilled trades. The college scholarships pay $1,500 per year for four years and the skilled trades scholarships pay $1,500 for two years.
Covenant HealthCare Employee Scholarship
This scholarship is for Legal Dependents of Covenant HealthCare Employees.
