Link Crew is a high school transition program that increases freshman success. Members of the junior and senior class are trained to be Link Leaders who act as positive role models, motivators, mentors and teachers helping guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school.
Leaders coordinate and run the freshmen orientation day. During this day, each leader works in small groups of 10 freshmen. The leaders then provide academic and social support to these 10 freshmen throughout the remainder of the year.
Our active Link Crew Leaders currently have each offered over 25 volunteer hours to make this program a success. They will continue to formally work with freshmen through academic follow-ups with students and unstructured leader contact with individual freshmen.
